Mid-City is excited to announce that Bob Christensen has been promoted to Project Manager! Bob is currently working on a large project located in Hilliard, but has done many other projects in the past with us. Some of his professional highlights include his 13 years at Mount Carmel West, where he worked on everything from the massive transformers to tiny fiber optics. At Ezzo Sausage Plant in 2017, Bob and his crew won a BX Craftsmanship Award for their unique electrical system design. Following Ezzo’s, Bob managed the Oxley and Pomerene Hall historical renovation projects at OSU. This was particularly demanding due to the age of the building, as it was built before 1900. This made code updates and maintaining the historical architectural features of the buildings a major challenge. Over the years, Bob has attributed his success to mentors like former Director of Teledata Operations Ralph Charles, Director of Estimating Dave Anderson, and former Project Manager Dave Novotny. In Bob’s new role as project manager, he is excited to take on the challenge of organizing and devising plans to tackle projects, and coordinating his efforts with other trades. We are excited to watch Bob continue to grow in his new role. Congrats, Bob!
