We want to congratulate Director of Safety Sanjay Patel for his recent completion of The Construction Health and Safety Technician certification. This certification, known as CHST, is administered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and is one of the highest safety certifications that a safety professional in the industry can achieve. According to BSCP, credential holders are among the most highly trained, educated, and experienced individuals in the safety field. Other professional development programs available through BSCP include the Safety Trained Supervisor (STS), the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC), and the Certified Environmental, Safety & Health Trainer (CET) certifications, among many others administered by the organization.
A graduate from the Ohio State University with a degree in Construction Systems Management, Sanjay came to Mid-City from Bruner Corp. There, he spent six years managing their safety program on and off job sites. Some of his project safety management includes the OSU Medical Center Tunnel, Nationwide Children’s Hospital-Replacement Hospital, Mount Carmel Grove City Ambulatory Hospital, and the Franklin County Courthouse.
