Jeremy Whitely, project foreman, to finish BX Field Leadership Excellence Series at the end of February

Jeremy Whitely, project foreman, will graduate from the Builders Exchange Field Leadership Excellence Series (BX FLEX) on February 28, 2018 at the Quest Conference Center. A five-month, eight-session program designed to transform top field force managers into high-impact leaders, the BX Flex professional development series is in its fourth year, with 32 field leaders from BX member firms participating. Jeremy, who has been in the electrical trade for  10 years, is the forth Mid-City electrician to complete the program. Past participants include project foremen Rick Killilea and Mark Rosselet, and prefab manager Steve Engle.

The BX Field Leadership Excellence Series is an opportunity for me to learn new skills and become a better leader, Jeremy said.

A true leader in the field, Jeremy has been with Mid-City for 10 years, and has overseen several major industrial projects, including the recent renovations at Superior Beverage and Clover Leaf Cold Storage. He is currently working at  the Canopy by Hilton site, a 12-story 167-room new construction project in downtown Columbus.

This type of training is important for my leadership in the field, and improves the jobsite for me and everyone I work with,” Jeremy added.
