Meet our new Accounting Coordinator Stephanie Lamonda! Stephanie joins Mid-City with 17 years of accounts receivables experience in the construction industry. Working alongside the accounting team to execute and streamline the billing process for some of our larger projects, Stephanie is going to be a huge resource. Welcome to the team Stephanie! Below are some questions we asked Stephanie to help you get to know her better.

Q: What will your role here at Mid-City involve?
I’ll be working with project managers to complete the billing process for some of our bigger   jobs. At my last job, I oversaw billing for 22 project managers. I’m used to being busy with jobs of varying sizes and scopes, so it will be a welcome change to have a more narrowed focus on larger projects in particular.

Q: What sparked your interest in accounting and in this position in particular? I have spent the last 17 years working in accounts receivable for a local electrical and industrial rigging contractor. I enjoy the fast paced environment. It is also satisfying to see the finished product as a result of hard work and collaboration.  A couple of the reasons why I decided to join Mid-City are their family-owned business structure, and their highly respected industry reputation. I am proud to be a new member of this family.

Q: From your point of view, what do you think is the most important aspect of customer service?
The most important aspect of customer service is your knowledge of your product or service. You also need to be able to clearly communicate so you can successfully act on whatever problem you are trying to solve. Your goal should always be to satisfy the customer and to find a solution for them.

Q: What do you do outside of Mid-City? (like a fun fact!)
Most of my time outside of work is spent with my family. We enjoy traveling, taking the Jeep out, and OSU Football!
