Mid-City Hires Site Safety Manager Sanjay Patel

Sanjay Patel has joined Mid-City’s safety team! As our new on-site safety manager, Sanjay will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of safety at our new large-scale   project. In this position, he will work on-site to perform all risk assessment and mitigation, collect and maintain all project safety data and reporting, write and update the site-specific safety programs, and present job site safety reports to upper management.

Prior to Sanjay joining Mid-City, our safety team consisted of Human Resources and Safety Director Ryan Dew, and Safety Coordinator Brandon Stowers. Collaborating with Ryan and Brandon, Sanjay will work to ensure that the initiatives being implemented company-wide translate to his project crew.

We’re excited to add Sanjay to our safety team. With Mid-City growing, it’s important that we’re able to communicate our safety messages across all of our job sites. Sanjay will be able to take the programs and initiatives that we’re working on across the company, and bring them to our team at this project, Ryan Dew, Director of Human Resources and Safety, said.

A graduate from the Ohio State University with a degree in Construction Systems Management, Sanjay comes to Mid-City from Bruner Corp. There, he spent the past six years managing their safety program on and off job sites. Some of his project safety management includes the OSU Medical Center Tunnel, Nationwide Children’s Hospital-Replacement Hospital, Mount Carmel Grove City Ambulatory Hospital, and the Franklin County Courthouse.
