Joe Hall
VLC Coordinator
Biography
Joe was born and raised on the values of God, Family, and Country. Although he was born in Ohio, around the age of eight he realized who the better team was—and still is—Go Blue!
After high school, Joe became a member of the United States Marine Corps, where he served four years as a Combat Engineer. He later used the GI Bill to earn an associate degree in Business Management, though he was not able to apply it right away.
A friend suggested the Electrical Training Center (ETC), and while Joe was initially hesitant about committing to several more years of school, he eventually applied and was accepted. Looking back, he considers it one of the best decisions he could have made. Mid-City brought him on to their team, and he has been committed ever since.
Over the years, Joe has gained vital knowledge in QA/QC, LOTO, and commissioning through work on projects such as NAOs, Mustang, MCHS, and OHWC. These experiences have helped shape him into the professional he is today.
Joe is grateful to be welcomed onto the VLC team. In the field, his goal in QA was to be the last line of defense for inspections and energizations. In his new role with VLC, he aims to be the first line of defense—helping all teams succeed.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and their three energetic kids, along with family and friends. He also enjoys hunting, shooting, visiting “the Big House,” and spending time in the great outdoors.

Fun Fact
Since taking a high school shop class, woodworking has been a deeply rooted passion for Joe, where it truly became ingrained in him. He attended a career center and worked several jobs related to residential carpentry. Fast forward to today, if Joe is not working, chasing kids, or tending to the lawn (his next highest passion), he is probably planning his next woodworking project.
