Biography
James began his career in the trades later in life, joining the union as a carpenter at 39. Starting as an apprentice, he advanced through roles as Journeyman, Foreman, and General Foreman, gaining hands-on experience and leadership skills at every level. Along the way, he had the opportunity to work with a wide range of talented tradespeople across the country, shaping both his perspective and his approach to teamwork.
Today, James draws on this foundation to inform his work in the safety field, where he is committed to ensuring safe, productive, and collaborative job sites. His unique career path gives him a practical understanding of the challenges workers face and the importance of building a strong safety culture.
