Biography
Kyle is a Safety Manager here at Mid-City, where he oversees safety operations on large-scale data center construction projects. With 14+ years of combined military and civilian safety experience, Kyle brings a unique perspective that blends disciplined leadership, hands-on medical expertise, and proactive risk management.
Before transitioning into construction safety, Kyle served 14 years as a Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, embedded with Marine Combat Units and Medical Battalions. In that role, he gained extensive experience in emergency medicine, preventive health, demolition operations, combat training, and flight operations. This foundation instilled in him a strong commitment to situational awareness, accountability, and protecting lives in high-risk environments.
Kyle is a Board-Certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) and holds additional certifications as a Mobile Elevated Working Platform Instructor (MEWP TTT) and BLS Instructor. He is actively pursuing the Safety Management Professional (SMP) credential from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals to further advance his expertise in leadership and systems-level safety management.
At Mid-City Electric, Kyle focuses on building a strong safety culture through practical training, OSHA 1926 compliance, and innovative solutions for high-hazard work such as fall protection, crane operations, and excavation. He partners closely with field crews and project leadership to ensure every worker has the tools, knowledge, and confidence to perform their job safely.
