Biography
Seth grew up in Nashville, North Carolina—yes, the original Nashville. From a young age, he demonstrated leadership and dedication, earning the rank of Eagle Scout in 2014. Throughout high school and college, he was actively involved in marching band, playing the tuba.
While attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Seth explored various academic paths before finding his place in the Athletic Training (AT) program. During his time in the program, he gained valuable experience working with high-performing athletes across the Field Hockey, Soccer, and Wrestling teams. His passion for athletic training led him to pursue a master’s degree in the field at Ohio University, where he served as the head athletic trainer for a local high school.
After earning his master’s, Seth worked in both an orthopedic clinic and a Division III college setting. These roles sparked his growing interest in injury prevention, which eventually led him to an Injury Prevention Specialist position at Amazon. While there, he developed a strong interest in workplace safety and actively sought mentorship to deepen his knowledge in the field.
This curiosity led Seth to discover the world of construction safety—a space where he felt he could make a real impact. As a Health and Wellness Specialist in the construction industry, Seth found his calling. He pursued and earned both the ASP (Associate Safety Professional) and CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certifications.
Now at Mid-City Electric, Seth is excited to step into his role and contribute to a culture of safety. His goal is to help create a work environment where every team member can feel confident they will return home just as safe as when they arrived.
