Riverside McConnel Heart Hospital

Columbus, OH

2004

224,000 sqft

Scope of Work

McConnell Heart Hospital was a 224,000-square-foot, $8 million, design assist project. The expansion of this existing space included the design and installations for the entire hospital. Facility space that Mid-City designed and completed installations for include the emergency department, EP labs, cath labs, and nurse call and fire alarm systems. Our team was also credited with installing two new electric services with back-up generation for the entire hospital. Technologies installations include all structured cabling, which is comprised of Cat 6 cabling for data and voice, fiber optic cabling, and voice backbone. Mid-City worked alongside the general contractors collaboratively to create a schedule that delivered the project on time and within budget. Because Mid-City’s design ideas saved time on the project and increased overall efficiency, we were able to save the Owner $432,000.
